The Kopa Clipit® Is A Model In Spyderco’S Canon Of Collectible Gentlemen’S Folders. This Series Highlight Stainless Handles Inlayed With Exotic Materials. The First Was Manufactured With Cocobolo Wood, The Second With Black Linen Micarta, And This Latest And Our Final Model With Carbon Fiber Inserts. Standard On All Kopa Models Are Stainless Handles Painstakingly And Ergonomically Engineered For The Human Hand. Fitted Individually, Each Inlay Is Set Between Brushed Steel Bolsters Creating A Custom-Finished Appearance. Expansion Points Wave Out Along The Handle Keeping The User’S Hand In Constant Contact For Cutting Precision And Greater Safety. Patterned In A Leaf-Shape, The Utilitarian Blade Is Vg-10 Flat-Ground With A Plainedge Cutting Surface. Positioned Just Above The Spyderco Round Hole Is A Spine Cusp And Just Below The Hole Is A Small Finger Choil. The Cusp And Choil Work In Concert Keeping The Hand Stabilized While Cutting. A Back-Lock Positioned Mid-Way On The Spine Has A David Boye Cutout From The Lock Bar As An Additional Safety Feature. It Carries Right-Handed Tip-Down With A Silhouette Steel Pocket Clip. Quantities Are Limited To 600 Pieces Per Handle Material.
